Tina Fey – America’s newest sweetheart
I recently turned in my final project for my Entertainment PR class. I had to choose a “client” to pitch back in September at the beginning of the semester. I choose Tina Fey because I was really enjoying “30 Rock” on DVD from Netflix. I had also enjoyed her work on SNL and Baby Mama. When I chose Fey, I thought it would be fun to come up with a campaign for her.
Then came the Sarah Palin impersonation.
After Palin, I had almost nowhere to go with Tina. How could I possibly generate any more buzz than she already had?
In my research, I came to find that TinaFey.com simply redirects to NBC.com. I couldn’t believe it. Tina Fey doesn’t have an official Web site.
It became rather easy to create a campaign after that insight. Tina Fey – Web 2.0. Launching in 2009 on the interwebs near you.
